Maybe I'm a Purist...
...but no player should have to create a SportsCenter-worthy highlight by making a leaping catch into a freakin' garbage bag, as Matt Kemp did.
Just an observation. Makes you appreciate Dodger Stadium a little more, despite the traffic issues — and the lousy hot dogs.

Maybe the hot dogs are bad, but you gotta love those Camacho's Nachos!

I really don't know what to say about tonight's game... The offense was flat, Billingsley wasn't too sharp, and bullpen threw away the game yet again.
But, how awesome is our defense all of a sudden? Kemp in a Hefty sack, Lofton with the alert throw, Ethier and Martin with their guns... even Kent and Furcal were on top of their game today. Against Torii Hunter's team, the Dodgers created their own team-effort Webgem reel. I also realized why Furcal has been playing much better D since Izzy came back. It's not that he's 'pushing' Furcal to play better, Izturis is sucking up every ground ball hit to the left of second base! On the first hit of the game, Izturis was 2/3 of the way to second base when that bouncer went way over his head.

You had to throw in the "lousy hot dogs" part, didn't you, BK??!!?? HAHA!!
I would kill for a Dodger Dog right about now!

BK,
And quit picking on a team that is in danger of being contracted, HAHA!! What’s next?? You are going to start picking on my softball team (The Patty Wacks) for making the children pick up trash off the field after our games, HAHA!!

Sorry Lolo. I'm don't mean to harp, I just believe that one of the world's most storied franchises should have a quality dog. As for the Twinkies? They've got a new stadium coming. So no need to be too sympathetic anymore.

Ironic that he passed away in St. Louis, BK.

Interesting how the Los Angeles Times seems to be the only place mentioning the passing of the originator of the Dodger Dog. When the all-beef dogs were introduced, I asked a concessionnaire what was in the regular Dodger Dogs. She shrugged and said acidicly - "I dunno. Meat?"
