Tomko to the DL

Brett Tomko has been placed on the 15 day DL with a strained left oblique muscle, retroactive to Saturday the 24th. That opens up the two roster spots necessary for newbies Hendrickson and Hall. Odalis Perez will fill Tomko's slot on Wednesday. In theory, Hendrickson would fill it this weekend against the Angels, but I'm just guessing and doing a little math...often a recipe for disaster.

AK/BK,

The Dodgers don't really plan on having 3 catchers on the roster, do they?

Did anything pan out on that rumor that another trade is piggybacking off this one with a 3rd team?

LoLo

OK, I am trying to recall a time when I saw a pitcher pick up 9ER in one game. Congratulations, Lowe, you may be the first.

Selig, you worthless piece of cow flop with no backbone, end this inter-league play garbage RIGHT NOW!!

Andy

Actually, Jason Marquis just gave up 13 earned runs to the white sox in 5 innings on June 21, followed by a mere 7 ER in his next start.

Lolo-

With Tomko on the DL, that makes room for Hall and Hendrickson, at least temporarily. I wish I knew what will happen next, but I don't. I can't picture them carrying three catchers, but at the same time, I don't see them releasing Alomar, either. Not sure how this'll play out.

And Andy, there's really no reason to remind me how terrible the Cards pitching staff has been recently. Although in the terrible Marquis outing- the first one at least- he basically volunteered to stay in the game and the the *#@&@ kicked out of him to preserve the bullpen in a blowout. Seriously took one for the team.

THE WOLF

this is a conspiracy...but a good one. the dodgers are trying to showcase odalis p. by pitching him against santana so they could get as much value out of him before they send him packing. oh GOD, please let this happen by letting odalis throw a no hitter!!! anything just let him win!!!! if you do this LORD, ill promise to stop buying plastic syringes and throwing them at barry bonds and yelling profanities while children are present(1 out of two aint bad)!!!

lolo, in an interview today, little said that he wanted sandy to pinch hit from now on so he'll carry 11 pitchers. hall will be martins backup(sandy cant throw out anyone either).

LoLo

BK,

Ooooooh, frisky are we? HAHA!! Did Andy hit a nerve? HAHA!!
