Gnats Ahoy!

It's time for some straight up rivalry action- even if Jeff Kent's over it- down at the ol' Ravine.  The Giants of San Francisco are in town for a three day stint.  And with them travels the always beloved Barry Bonds, who should expect his standard one-finger salute while chasing Henry Aaron.  Perhaps the former reality TV show star should take congeniality lessons from one Luis Gonzalez, who's always been good at making friends.  Derek Lowe will look to bounce back after a horrible outing against Colorado, although his competition in Matt Morris is no slouch.  And should Lowe cause batters to drop like the sinker he throws, the boys closing out his efforts got it under control of late.  Unless, of course, you remain unimpressed by Takashi's Saito's conversion rate of 100%.

Looking forward to another sweep to put the giants back in their place (last that is) Go Big Blue

I say let the Dodgers walk Bonds as much as possible. I would rather give up a run on a walk than help him have a chance of the Dodgers helping him acheive his goal. I would rather not hear ,'Lets do the right thing' and pitch to him knowing how his goal probably was acheived. I think his record will be a joke. Knowing the kind a player Aaron was and the type person he is, Bonds couldn't be Aaron's batboy!

A Rod goes wild and the Yankees are 8-10. What a waste of a great start. The media in NY has gone bonzo, yet the Yankees are losing.

As usual the Yankees can score but they can't win.
You can clearly see, I ain't no fan of the Steinbrenner.

Let's see if the day off can help the
Dodger Old Timers get back to there winning ways.

Sorry, But I would like Bonds to hit two but lose the game. Any way you look at it, it's still history and it makes for a more interesting game

Who is this Dayn Perry guy who does the power rankings for Fox? He has the Dodgers currently ranked 7th (he had them 18th to start the season). The Dodgers have the best record in the Majors, and only the Mets have a higher run differential than the Dodgers and yet his rankings are:

1. Red Sox (12-6, run differential: +32)
2. Braves (12-7, +6)
3. Mets (12-6, +52)
4. Twins (11-8, +4)
5. Indians (!) (9-7, 0)
6. Tigers (11-9, +10)
7. Dodgers (13-6, +34)

Somebody tell me that this guy's so-called expertise is really in soccer and he is only filling in for the regular baseball guy. I know it's just his opinion, but he is revealing himself to have very little credibility or insight into major league baseball at the moment.

Okay, okay. I'll try and get a life now.

Fatty,

Let Bonds make his history in somebody else's house. Not the hallowed grounds of Chavez Ravine.

Amen.

Hey Ddoger Dogs: Good game last night. We are playing good ball, best starting staff in the N.L. Bullpen is solid. Gonna be a good race all year. We still need a trade for a right handed bat, might have to trade Sanchez or Lowry but Todd Lincecum is ready in triple A.

You guys really sound tired about Barry. The pitchers he was hitting the ball off were doing the same thing he was, they just flew under the radar. Look at Gagne and Schmidt. They sure seem to have broken down a lot since testing has begun; hmmm. You really think he was the only one, or is it more like 50%. How many players have you seen, especially pitchers, say he was juiced? They know and they ain't talking because they have some dirty laundry. Hate him because he is a Giant, or because you don't like his personality, but stop with the B.S. that he has ruined baseball all by himself. It just ain't so.
Giants fan
