Rocked-xton

Not that Broxton was the only Dodger hurler to get shelled during tonight's 11-4 thumping against Washington.  But his was the easiest last name to turn into a snappy title, so he got the nod.  Nothing personal, Big Jon.  Besides, I'll go out on a limb and predict that Broxton's standards for himself are high enough that he'd consider his four earned runs, two hits and two walks over two-thirds of an inning fair game for a zinger.

But as they say, "misery loves company."  And along those lines, Broxton had company.  Losing hurler Mark Hendrickson surrendered a quintet of runs over little more than four innings.  Rudy Seanez only threw seven pitches in all, but one ended up leaving the yard.  And Yhency Brazoban didn't even register an out before giving up a run and leaving the game with a shoulder injury that'll get an MRI tomorrow.  Will the recently-activated righty quickly find himself on the outside looking in again when it comes to future box scores?  Fingers crossed it's nothing serious.

More to come later.

Hendrickson, Bombko- please lets not see them again this year in any game that matters. There has tobe SOMEONE who is better.

Ya there are two guys better (or at least deserving) - Hung Chi - Kuo who pitched well last year in the end & in that playoff game against the Mets.....and I think Chad Biilingsly could possibly do well ( I could be wrong) if he's given some consistent starting time!
