Who missed the extra point?

Spring Training is a time for separating the wannabes from the wills.  That's tough work when everyone in the lineup crushes the ball, as the Dodgers did in today's 20-6 win over the Cards.  20-6!  Congrats to Joe Torre and his new spread offense.  Highlights

  • Two hits, three RBIs for Matt Kemp.
  • A homer and three RBIs for Delwyn Young.
  • Two hits each for James Loney and Rafael Furcal, two for John-Ford Griffin, and three for George Lombard.
  • A pair of runs scored for Jason Repko, Andre Ethier, and Blake DeWitt.

And so on.  On the mound, Hong-Chih Kuo threw a scoreless inning (that's good) but Hiroki Kuroda gave up five hits and three runs (two earned) in a pair of innings (not good).  At least he couldn't complain about run support.
