LA Times Publisher David Hiller sings the anthem at Dodger Stadium

Before Thursday's game at Dodger Stadium between the Blue Crew and the Cubbies, L. A. Times Publisher David Hiller did a pretty good job of delivering the National Anthem.

Because there has been a lot of demand for this video, we decided to post it here. Enjoy!

Are you sure this was Friday night's game? I'm pretty sure it was Thursday night's game. Actually, I'm positive it was Thursday night's game. Then again, you did say "before Friday's game" so maybe you meant the game before Friday. I just checked my video that I took at the game, and yup ... it was David Hiller. And I know I went to Thursday's game, not Friday.

Thanks Tony,

Many of my colleagues in the pressroom thought I was pulling their leg regarding the Singing Publisher.

My hats off to David as I have trouble singing in front of forty people, while he sings in front of forty thousand.

Way to go David.

Is that you, Nero?

Really great job! Its good to see community spirit exhibited by the Times leadership. I don't remember when the Wall Street Journal execs sang at the Mets or Yankees games. Keep up the good work and we'll Ikeep our subscription to the LA Times.

I loved seeing who the Publisher of the Los Angeles Times. It was really terrific of him to put himself out there on the field for all of us to see and hear him hit all the right notes for our National Anthem. Very cool.
