Just got an email from Tony Jackson who informed me that Joe's post season roster doesn't have to be in until Wednesday - presumably because of Twins/White Sox season still ongoing.
I don't think the Dodgers want Kent back as their DH.
They already have Weeney, a guy who can't field or throw (or hit, for that matter--maybe he should be the designated misser), and they probably plan on shifting Manny to DH in 2010.
There's little chance that Kent will a Dodger next year, and almost ZERO chance that he will be a DH for them (you don't keep someone on the roster for a handful of games in AL parks).

Additionally, they co-authored Fishing on the Edge, the autobiography of Mike Iaconelli, the bad boy of bass fishing and 2003 Bassmaster Classic champion. They grew up in St. Louis as Cardinals fans, but it doesn't impair their ability to Think Blue. After all, the Cards and Dodgers aren't even in the same division.

Can't make it, but will you please do me a favor and discuss the merits of having Jeff Kent as a designated hitter in 2009 and possibly 2010.
Thanks, and I will read the transcripts.
