It's awards time!

Who needs a real Cy Young or MVP when you can get one from us?

You're right, Andy. Cy Young goes to Bills, without a doubt. Derek was good, but Bills was better. (Sorry, Brian.) As far as the rest of the fielders go you definitely need to hand out two, one to 'Dre and one for Manny.

An honorable mention to FAJ? Shouldn't that be a DIShonorable mention? It is to FAJ, after all, and I tend to think the first letter of the acronym refers not to his waistline but to a word that can't be printed in a family newspaper.

K T

Excellent Honorable mention to FAJ for his suckitude

Manny has to be the mvp because he cost nothing whatsoever AND he got rid of Jeff Kent as the veteran leader of the team.

But Andre was the best player all year long.Your point about Fatso is even more pointed when you look at salaries.

a footnote/asterisk nod/mention for MVP ought to go to Raffy -- no telling what kind of monster year he may have had????.............
and rookie of yr = dewitt, and co-rookie pitchers of yr = wade/kuroda (tie)

After watching Game 4 of the World Series, I couldn't help wondering if Benzo Brist is related to Benzo Jones.

Is it just me or is anyone else astounded at what the Phils are doing? They're shutting down the Rays offense in much the same way they shut down the Dodgers' offense. And yet I still don't think they're anywhere near the best team in baseball. This series is starting to remind me a lot of the Cardinals/Tigers 2006 matchup: a boring, erratic end to an exciting well-played season.

Benzo Jones

I am completely unrelated to anything
