Is Loney already the most valuable player?
Wow, talk about grace under pressure. Before that it looked like Dempster could walk the bases loaded every inning and the Dodgers still wouldn't score.
The whole team seemed tight to me and James' HR just changed everything. Maybe for the series.
I honestly have to admit I expected a loss last night but not by the Cubs. And that first win is gigantic! 28-4 for the first team that wins.
It's not over by a long shot but this first win lets Bills go out and pitch his game without the pressure of having to getting the must win to keep the Dodgers in it.
With a young pitcher in his first post season you can't measure how much taking the first game helps.

I sympathize with Cubs fans, but not enough to want them to beat the Dodgers.
